The New NYCE PPO Health Plan

Effective January 1, 2026, the City of New York's new health plan, replacing the current GHI CBP/Anthem BlueCross and BlueShield plan for active employees and pre-Medicare retirees, and their eligible dependents under 65 is the NYCEPPO. This new plan, NYC Employees PPO plan (NYCE PPO), will be offered by EmblemHealth (Emblem) and United Healthcare (UHC) and provides an expanded network of healthcare providers without increases in cost for members.

Many retirees have requested assistance with the network.   Since the MLC wanted a "standalone" plan that didn't identify with the United Healthcare or Emblem network - many of your doctors are having a hard time confirming your insurance coverage by traditional means.   This flyer will show them what to do and use the information on your card to confirm your insurance.  Just click it to print it!  Print it out and bring it to their office!  The lower image explains the network coverage areas.
